Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, passed away January 19, 2008, in the USA. She was an American film television, theatre, and voice actress. Pleshette began her career in the theatre. She appeared in films in the late 1950s. Later, she was a prominent actor in movies such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 until 1978, Pleshette appeared regularly on television productions of various kinds. She also was the character Emily Hartley, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January in 1937. Her parents were Jewish and were the children of immigrants from Russia, Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was stage manager of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
