Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is well-known because of her role as Violet Plunkett in CBS's sitcom Mom. Calvano, who is a native of California had a first interest in competitive gymnastics. She later decided to become an actor. Her screen debut came in the year 2010, in a segment of CBS program NCIS. Her first big screen appearance came one year later with the biographical crime thriller movie J Edgar. The following years saw her was recognized as one of the top actors in the current industry. As of 2011, she received nominated for the Young Artist Award, Best performance by a TV Series Guest Actress in Episode 11-15. In 2013 she was once again nominated for the Young Artist Award in recognition of her role as a guest star on Disney XD's Comedy Series Kickin' It.
