Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay Brodie was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn MacKay was born into the Mormon Church's original family, used her astonishing literary skills and impressive research skills in order to write the psycho-historical biographies of Joseph Smith. The book called The book, No Man knows My History was published in 1945. It was derived from the title of a sermon that Joseph Smith delivered in 1844. He shocked his hearers with the statement: You are not my friend and you've never listened to my voice. My past is not known to anyone. It's impossible for me to reveal it. Fawn 29, a woman of 29 years old, said: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have picked up the challenge." These documents are not lacking, they just contradict each the other. The process of assembling these documents, sifting through first-hand and third-hand sources and fitting the Mormons' stories to those of other people's history - is challenging. It is both interesting and eye-opening. Fawn Brodie's professional life was devoted to this aim. Her research and writing made her immortalized with worldwide fame. Thaddeus Stevens. The Scourge of the South (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. An intimate Historiography (1974) and posthumously Richard Nixon.
